Co-founded Kiley Advisors in 2004 to serve Construction Firms and Associations.
Current Practice:
- Serves as Advisor, Consultant, Confidante and Coach to CEO’s and Senior Executives on matters of Leadership and Strategy
- Conducts Strategic Planning and Leadership Retreats for Executive Teams and Boards
- Facilitates 3 ongoing Executive Roundtables, Confidential Forums made up of CEO’s or Senior Executives, aimed at Leadership Development
- Participates in Researching and Writing the Annual Houston Commercial Construction Market Forecast; Speaks to many organizations about the Forecast
Speaks or Conducts Workshops regularly on the following topics:
- Strategic Issues for Houston Construction Firms
- Leadership Characteristics of Successful Contractors
- Annual Houston Commercial Construction Market Forecast
- Principles of “Good to Great” for Construction Firms

- Management Trustee and Investment Committee Member on Construction Craft Pension Funds with over $500 Million in Assets
- Steering Committee Member of the Urban Land Institute, Houston District Council
- Board Member of Women Contractors Association
- Member of the Board of Managers of a local, Specialized Staffing Company
- Chairman of the Board of Healthy Family Initiatives, a non-profit organization working to eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect
- Board Member and Vice-Chairman of Bonita House of Hope, a transitional living facility for Women with various issues and their Children.
- Board Member of CanCare, Inc, an organization that provides support to people with Cancer.
Prior Experience:
- Served for 21 years with the Houston Chapter, Associated General Contractors (AGC), a large trade association serving General Contractors, Specialty Contractors, Suppliers and Service Firms in the Commercial Construction Industry; for 17 years was the Chief Staff Executive.
- Observed, in the role at AGC, the repetitive issues involving Leadership and Strategy faced by Commercial Construction Firms; often involved as Advisor and Confidante to CEO’s and Senior Executives in finding solutions
- Worked regularly with Elected and Government Officials at the City, County and State Level
- Prior to AGC, 10 years with a large Texas Medical Center Institution, as an Executive responsible for Communications and Relationship Building Activities.
- Taught evening classes in Employee Relations at both University of Houston and Houston Community College
- Served as Board Member, Compensation & Audit Committee Member of an SEC Regulated Staffing Company experiencing extremely rapid growth. ($17 million to $300 Million in 3 years)
- Principal of Specialized Consulting Firm, acquired by a National Firm.
